Who can attend English Corner?

Everyone is welcome!  You do not have to be a student at the University of Illinois to be part of English Corner. We welcome people from anywhere across the world as well as native English speakers!

What is the cost to attend English Corner?

Most English Corner events are FREE!  Some special events may have a charge, but you will be notified before you attend.

What if I cannot attend all the events?

 There is no weekly commitment to English Corner.  You can come as you wish!

Where are the events held?

Our weekly events are located in the Illini Union. Watch your email for the latest information about what room we will be in!

Does English Corner offer small group events?

Yes! Please refer to the "Conversation Groups" tab.

How do I get information on English Corner events?

You can register for our email newsletter on the "Home" tab.  You will be emailed about events weekly.  You can also join our Facebook group (English Corner at UIUC) and follow us on social media (https://linktr.ee/englishcorneruiuc).

How Do i get more involved in English Corner?

We welcome anyone who would like to be more active in our organization.  You do not need to be a UIUC student.  Please contact us if this is something you would be interested in!
